Thinking of heading out to camas/skyline next week. Anyone thinking the same?

Looking at the pine turn off cam and considering there is not much chatter from the snowkite Idaho yahoo group Skyline might be the better option.

If local conditions don't look good I may head to skyline or Idaho if they get more snow.

Skyline was epic today, and last Friday. Snow is perfect. But with the warm temps coming in, I am worried it may glaze over.

Still, I am going to stick it out up here. Lots of kiters hitting Strawberry Res spots tomorrow for the blowout.

Not local, but it's looks like Pine Turnoff is showing mid teen westerlies right now. Sunny and a balmy high of 28 today.

Stay warm with those overnight lows!

I'm worlds away and this isn't very scientific but if memory serves me correct, I'd look at NOAA at Mountain Airforce base for any east wind predictions. Any predictions over 15 usually work out pretty well at Cat Creek summit. If Mountain home is showing say east 17 and pine turnoff is showing some east movement in the morning then I'd go.
