We are faster, more agile, and we have more fun. In the freeway analogy, they are like semi trucks. They make wide turns and have little options if they want to keep their momentum, and their line and their stoke. Let's give it to them, because we can.
I plan my jibe and watch my position so I do not interrupt wind surfers' jibes. If things get tight and there is room downwind, I eject into the sky.
It is a lot harder to have fun on a windsurfboard. Let's not keep them from getting some. I kite the hatch with a smile on my face, always snapping my head back and forth to see a line that works for everyone. No one is ever aggro toward me.

It appears that the 'mean' kiter is happier than 99% of all windsurfers, and that the unhappiest 50% of kiters are as happy, or happier than the upper quartile of happy windsurfers.
