Has anyone tried to kite at Timothy Lake? The site says windsurfing/kiteboarding allowed, but feedback would be appreciated. _________________ CGKA Member |

Tried a few years ago. Drift launched from the floating raft/dock.
sadly it was punchy and ended up down wind by campsites and treed the kite !

usually a fair number of sailboats there so that's telling |

I windsurfed there maybe 25 years ago when I was just learning on a long board. It was reasonably windy. But the wind at a mtn lake wind is always going to be dirty. |
