Wish I had seen this, how was it? Went to Jones but it was only 13m and I was surprised that it never ramped up. I saw Manzanita hit 23 for a few hours even though the forecast wasn't good for the north coast. I can never trust ikitesurf for ft Stevens since their sensor sucks

Beautiful afternoon with head high surf and big kite wind, mid teens. We were the only ones kiting! Felt like September. Water in the upper 50's. Did two downwinders. We had dinner at Hump's on hwy 30 a little before you cross over to Longview, excellent food.

Probably too much north in the pressure gradient, and the temperature gradient wasn't quite strong enough to overcome. It looks similar today, but the temperature gradient is likely to be stronger - maybe enough for it to go?

Tomorrow and especially Sunday are looking more promising for Jones.
