So one of my sisters is coming into town within the week and she wants to do a gorge hike. I of course want to go kiting, but will do a hike before the winds kick in (if there is wind at Stevie or HR).

Have the wild flowers started to kick in yet up at Dog Mountain?

I rode the Syncline yesterday. Lots of hikers and flowers were out.

Dog Mountain does not go off until May.

for a unique hike, try Wind Mt. Not as far, good payoff on the view, ancient Native spirit quest site, and it leaves the afternoon open for kiting.
