I had this blow out on me and I bought some replacement parts which turned out to be the wrong parts. Bar is a 2009 RPM. There is a replaceable bearing in the chassis that your chicken rope goes through. If the bar has seen a lot of salt water the bearing may come out in pieces. Either way you'll have a little project driving the bearing out of the body. I'll round up some pieces and parts from my older bars and post if others don't get there first. New bungee needed also, to be honest I don't know if a newer comp stick one can be used. Might have to inquire on that...slingshot lists the bungee as a 2008-2009 part and not a comp stick one.
