First sign it is not legit: Their logo is a rip-off of the Jupiter Kiteboarding website.

Many businesses in China have little regard to intellectual property, so I choose to not give any money that does not have the decency to develop their own website or use non copyrighted images. |

There are some alibaba sites located in China which are legit but with poor english... If you are in the industry, you know the companies who produce your product.

Again, no guarantees companies are legit and some of the companies will have pics of products they produce, but I'm pretty sure you are not going to get an identical kite to a brand name with existing brand logos.
I know some kite schools who have custom branded kites and they are ok kites (bars suck) and they end up being around the price around what you can purchase a Switch for once you figure in time/shipping etc.
Personally, I like the fact I support local economy by purchasing from local businesses. |

After all the bs involved in transfer of funds, shipping, legitimacy and quality doubts I firmly believe local is also competitive cost wise plus don't forget resale value. Windance, 2nd Wind, Big Winds & ProMotion all have great customer service and if you buy during the right time of the year it's almost "bro deal" cost. Plus, all shop owners and staff are kiters as well so help spread the love to the guys and girls who have probably launched you or returned your board for you a few times. Meeluvyu Longtime ain't doing that from China. |

Contacted some kite reps and it turns out there are a number of hoax/scam websites that pop up via Indonesia and are used by duplicating another website for a short period of time to obtain as many orders as they can and then shutdown once they have either made enough money or have received legal cease/desist notifications.
This leaves the impression that this is a 100% full on money scam that has nothing to do with any of the sports.
Your local shops will be happy to take your money, but in exchange we'll actually provide you with product in return.
