I just started using a slingshot bar.
The first few times, I thought "finally someone figured out the line un-twisting!"
But now it only un-twists in one direction. It's constantly getting twisted to the right, even though I know I loop about the same in both directions.
Sometimes I think it twists by itself when I'm not looking.
Its totally annoying to be always reaching way up to untwist it by hand.
It doesnt un-twist just by looping in the other direction.

My 2014 Best bar has an untwist knob down at the chicken loop (I broke a line, waiting to fix it). THis is way better, but I still have to untwist by hand.

Does anyone have a bar they like that really un-twists by itself?
Any solutions to getting a slingshot bar to un-twist well in both directions?
Maybe mine's broken ... but it's like brand new

which lines are twisting? the 3 lines below the swivel or the 2 front lines above and connected to the swivel?

I used to have the same issue with the older SS bars (2010, 2011). The lines below the swivel that go thru the bar to the chicken loop would twist.

Now, I'm very careful when launching that my lines are straight and not twisted at the start of my session.

I no longer have the twisting problem. And I loop my kite quite a bit...

It's all you Laughing

Sort out your lines - make sure there is no sand in the bearings of the spinner - loop right watch the twist - loop left - check your sanity...

Does it have sand in it to prevent it from spinning? Never really had mine stop working in one direction but keep working in the other
