So yesterday I launched around seven hundred kites at the EV, and noticed a coupla things.

1. hardly anyone is pumping their kites enough. limp noodle kites fly like crap. I can attest to that cuz I forgot my electric pump that pumps the shit outta my kite, and manually pumped it was a pig! probably 2-3 lbs less than I've been flying it. modern bridled kites turning and upwindablity depend alot on rigid frame and wingtips.( FYI the MOST you can get outta kite pumps is 7 lbs. The pump will break long before you'll explode a kite.)

B. Launching limp noodle kites is a pain in the ass.

Also, that the new Chinese cloth thats getting popular seems to shred when it tears. I'm more curious about its longevity and stretch over time, more on that later...

Fun day on the beach, saw alot of people haven't seen inna while, HAPPY FKN MEMORIAL DAY YOU WANKERS!!!!

Yes, thanks for all the launches (and catches).
You should be generating lots of positive kite karma.

A couple of weeks ago I was launching from the ES, pumped up my kite and started to walk the bar upwind. I turned around to find Dangler untangling my freckin lines to “get me out on the water sooner”.

You the man Dangler, still owe you a beer for that.

Thanks for the multiple launches, your technique of a little hot along with a momentum gathering toss was was unmatched by anyone else. Felt perfectly safe in a gusty and slightly sketchy wind at the ES.
