Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on a product we're launching we're calling Quikin. I used to wish there was an easy way to pop my fins off at the sandbar without dropping my kite and pulling out the screwdriver. Plus it's not fun to try and get the screws back in when the threads are filled with sand. After a lot of different tests and versions we finally have something. Ends up working pretty sweet for traveling too!
We've been working on it for the last couple of years and had some really good interest from some major players in the industry, both with kites and wakeboards, but decided we're going to do it ourselves. Just launched today on Kickstarter. We're a couple local kiters and a product guy with a lot of manufacturing experience. We're committed to making this a top quality product!
Check it out and let me know your thoughts!

I think this is a pretty cool idea and looks like a solid product. Would be nice to see them up close in person locally!!

Nak, thank you. That means a lot. You are very respected in the NW Kite community and you are an inventor & entrepreneur yourself. You know what it takes to get something of this magnitude going.
We are sincere in this adventure. We have worked with a very talented individual that works in Beaverton , he patents parts for things you put on your feet.
We have jobs, we run a business. We do things right. Be assured if you back us via Kickstarter we will do as we say.

That's the best innovation I've seen since one-pump kites. Excited about the prospects.

We are dedicated to building this product. We are not a fly by night, get rich quick bunch of kooks. We are going to do this right. We need help funding it. A few eyes in the industry have seen the product and there has been a period of "awkward silence"
We are grateful for the support

I second that, got a number of board that all need the surf fins on/off. think it would be a great convenience with the bigger fins as well. different design but still….

You would need holes /sleeves ? through your surf board. Could be done. Thank you for the continued interest.
Mods. Forrest & Betty. If this is in the wrong section feel free to b*tch slap us. We are not brand on brand and we are not selling. We are simply asking for donations. Like a Charity.
Just so the NW Kiters know. We are not looking to get rich. We are looking to revolutionize how fins are attached to boards. If we can recoup are money, great. Our product will be Made In USA.

You're fine, unless someone complains, demanding that we ban you. We might have to ban them for making us carry screw drivers around again and keeping us off the water for 20 more minutes.

Thank you NW Kiters. We have a very big meeting set up for tomorrow at noon. We will share our new team member with you then.
We have previously reached out to the respected kiteboard / wakeboard companies. We were told to do our market research.
This is no BS. The messages are coming in from kiters, wakeboarders and cable riders all across the world. We believe this will revolutionize how fins are attached to boards.
