Forum Email Notifications?

Hey admins,
I was wondering if there's a way to get email notifications when new threads are added to the classifieds forum. Seems like a basic feature to be able to subscribe to a particular subforum, but I'm not seeing how to subscribe in order to get notifications.

I have my profile set up for notifications and a pop-up for PMs and notification for subjects that posted, but the feature does not seem to work.

I tried resetting my preferences , but it did not work.

Wondering what the forum is running on, on the back end... from what I can tell it's phpBB. Maybe it's an older version?
