My girlfriend took lessons from Dante with Kiteboarding Baja. She really liked him, and felt that he communicated very well with her. It took her 2 years and 4 different instructors to finally learn, but she's got it now thanks mainly to Dante.

Molly Kissenger. She works out of La Ventana Wind Sports right next door to Baja Joes.
She's IKO certified with 10 years of experience. She's also a really cool person...

My daughter used Marie's school, Elevation, at Baja Joe's and had a great experience. I'm not sure if Marie herself taught her (Marie did teach my girlfriend) but there is at least one other female instructor at Elevation who is great with young girls.
I forget her name but we saw her daily this year when she brought new students to launch at the campground, and even though my daughter is now competent on her own, her old instructor remembers her and they chatted every day.
Molly would be great also - she's a mom of three kids and and is very kid-friendly. |
