oh man, you guys drive a hard bargain:) I weigh about 205 and a 9M is normally my go to kite.

will any four line, equal line lenght bar work for the Fat Lady? i'm cheap so wondering if my LF CPR bar will work.

thanks....err, I think:)

i think you're playing it smart by considering getting a bigger whip. They do have those 'norte' days where you'll be on something smaller, but you are really looking at mid teen wind speeds most of the time. Kiting out in front of the ruins in tulum is probably the 2nd coolest session ive had (SF bay under the golden gate and in front of alacatraz is #1), and youd be really bummed watching others get the goods from the beach because you didn't bring a big'n.

good luck, post pics

talk about crappy conditions for a normal person to learn kiteboarding in (compared to some places) you can get a better experience in the hood (nevermind spi)

Yeah, all the lines are the same length. I used a best bar for a few sessions on the fat lady after slicing a center line.

Some of the best sessions we had in tulum were from 6 to 9 am - before most folks were up

We did have a trip where it blew 6m all week - which is rare
