Im heading to st martin in march, staying at orient beach at a resort, but would like to check out some other local beaches. I like both flat and waves.
Has any one been to st martin? what are the best kite spots? |

You will really enjoy Orient Bay. It's arguably one of the most beautiful beaches in all of the Caribbean. Orient Bay IS the main kite area on Saint Martin. You can find both flat-ish water and some very nice waves at times. The main beach can be quite busy. There is one kite school there, and they are very protective of their launch area since the beach is so busy. You should check with the people at the Vela Kitesurf Resorts for all of the low down. They also do shuttles to some off shore islands, and they do day trips to Anguilla and St. Barth too. Lucky you!
Enjoy! |
