If that hook up doesn't work out, I've used these guys http://www.mauivans.com/ 3 different times and have always been happy. They have older cars but are generally much cheaper and they hook you up with some beach chairs and a cooler if I remember right. Have fun!

I used maui cruisers and manaloha, cheap old rusty cars. This year going to spend an extra hundred and rent a newer car from al wests. So I can drive to hana without holding my breath.
