In La Ventana, I talked to several kiters if they ever replaced there pigtails? All stated no. The kite only has about 15 sessions on it. The pigtail outer sleeve is good condition, it is the inner core that is sticking out. I typically used my own kiting rule if in doubt replace. What would you do after looking at the pic?

Thanks

Anthony

Replace it - its cheap and easy. Much better than regretting it if it fails.

Anthony i think what your looking at there is the fluffy end of the cord where it is fed back through the center of the cord when making the loop.

^ What Occupied said. That pig tail looks good to me, but as MjrKrash said, they're pretty cheap to replace. If you have any doubt it's probably worth the peace of mind to replace it.
