Portland Hood River Commute Drive Carsharing lift ride

Hi,
anybody driving from Portland to Hood River and back frequently?
I plan to do so, when ever there is enough wind to go kiting!
During the week starting at 3 p.m., returning when the wind stops and at weekends starting anytime the wind blows and returning when it stopps!
To save money on gas I would love to share the ride.

Hi, I would be interested in catching a ride. I don't have a car myself, but could pitch in a few bucks for gas. I'm not working and am very flexible for time.

In case there are others that make this commute.... I drive from NE portland to HR every monday wens and friday. I leave around 9 am and return..around 5 or so, probably later if I decide to go kiting.

If your leaving portland at 3; why not just go to stevenson?

Hi folks!
I will be heading to kite in HR quite frequently starting in June. I have a car and would love to fill it with kiters who can throw down some cash, or rideshare.
I work at the mountain shop in Portland and am building their surf/SUP/kite program.
We currently have a bunch of Surfboards and SUP for rental, so I may be able to throw a couple SUP's on the car if the wind looks fluky too!

OK it's thread recycling day... question: what are the options for PDX-HR travel? (I'm talking about the airport not slang for the city itself). I have a car in Hood River but live in California now and need to get up there soon to finish up some work on my place, not to mention working from there this summer will require frequent travel (for both work and not). When I lived there years ago there was the Gorge Express shuttle - are there any shuttle services now? My friends will gladly come pick me up and drop me off and we often coordinate travel in and out but it gets old and times are not always the friendliest (early flights, mid-day when it's blowing, etc.). Just wondering what's out there these days...
