Hello fellow snowkiters

This concept came about as a solution to the main focus of the Bighorn Snowkite Summit which was to improve snowkiting, promote safety, and progressively improve. This scale concept will help a Snowkiter to know his own skills and appropriately challenge himself without getting over his head and decrease the risk of an accident. Hopefully this will help our snowkiting community guide people to the right conditions for their skills.

We are close to a final draft that we have been working very hard on. Criticism is welcome, but please try to see past personal opinions to understand the overall goal of conveniently telling beginners through experts where to go for the best sessions possible.

For a copy of the draft to look through email bighornsnowkitesummit@gmail.com you'll receive a copy to read through and have an opportunity for feedback. The goal is to develop a universal grading concept that can work world wide.

The task seems impossible, but we believe we have a simple enough system that takes into account what is needed to define the level of difficulty you may face in a day of snowkiting.

Once the final copy is finished, we'll post it up everywhere we can. We will get the support from manufacturers to push it from their end as well. We want to work this into "snowkiting language."

Thanks Everyone!
