Sharks seem to be liking human flesh a lot more. Makes you think before entering water.

This is starting to freak me out. Am I right that all these attacks are happening fairly far off shore, in fairly deep water?
I was snorkeling with my kids off Little Beach last year!

Do not fish in Maui with live bait while dangling foot in water.

I have read a few studies along with stories. yes do not fish with your feet hanging off. You Look like a sea turtle etc. Sea turtle populations have been booming in Maui as I see them every year and they are getting to be more of them closer to shore in my opinion. Tiger sharks favorite food is the turtle and a lot more people seem to be in the water. Clear water and plentiful food this time of year. I dont see many sharks and do not hear of as many sightings during the winter months as the water is not as clear and the mighty whales are around who will kick the crap out of sharkles. I think the tigers back off mid winter and return as soon as they are gone to start snacking on us and the turtles. Dont let the gray men get the best of you!!!

May have to rethink the kayak fishing storage issue, at least we don't have to worry about sharks up here...
may also need to download the shark tracker app on the iphone if they ratchet up the number of 12 ft sharks
