Rooster continued to go off today (Sunday), and some hardy souls braved the chilly temps and got it done (not me!)... including some experimental runs on the Ocean Rodeo 2m... yep, is was THAT windy! Good times!

Relative to the heights of the trees and the channel marker in the background, Mr. Orange is sky high.

Shocked Shocked Shocked

Cool.....nice shots Tracy! Smile Going back to Gman's question.....in Airon's accidental release photo the Blue Ocean Rodeo is a moon blast. I think I see the guys head in the water but the angle makes it look like he's flying 40m lines. Shocked Some serious boostage boys! Nice job!

In that shot, Airon's chicken loop accidentally popped off... The 2m Ocean Rodeo Rise is on normal length lines, and Dern is just water-starting to come back to shore (that's why he's lying back in the water). The big boost Dern did was on a 5m.... Dern & JJ did only a couple of reaches each on the 2m, just to see if it could work. They had to constantly work the kite... JJ did a downloop to complete his jibe on his strapless directional... the kite moved so fast you almost couldn't keep track of it. Shocked

I love that pic with all of us riding out there. Sick colors.

What a day, and incredible pic of Mr. Le (I think) boosting to the moon on Jess's 5 m Obsession RRD kite.

I was intermittently scared shitless, with some of those gusts, and was fortunate to have the good ol Fuel survive it all.

And props to the couple people (I didn't really see them in pics, probably because they came in early--it was so nuked out) on **8 meter** kites!!! In 40-50mph winds, I hope you weigh at least 200.

Thanks Kevin for holding me down while I put on my boots.

Thanks to Mutha Nature for putting on the Ritz.
