Sweet pics and nice day for sure. Was on a 7m (never reefed in) and surfboard and did a downwinder from Dalton with 3 others. Wind was best (most consistent) from Dalton to just past the east cliffs. Then it actually got stronger and a bit more punchy. My dw'er time was from about 1:15 to 3:30. Usually the wind is dirtier up by BV and Dalton and becomes more consistent around the cliffs and then drop a bit down by Captain America's Volleyball court; not today however. I was surprised I didn't see anyone else doing a downwinder.

I counted about 20+ kites out. . .hooded, 1 mm gloves and sported booties, but probably didn't need the booties. Water level was a bit higher the last east wind round a few weeks back.

Good to see everyone out!

Sasquatch, I wanted to get the dw'er with Slingy and crew but already had my gear stashed at Captain Americas Volleyball (lol) from my earlier sesh. Glad it was good. it did look good up there (even more widespread whitecaps).

Rooster is still blowing today for those who have the day off.
Stevenson has also decided to join in on the fun today after taking the day off yesterday.

So the EFFECT of the location of your stored gear AFFECTED your dw'er availability?
