Rowena niceness today, wish I had pics, some folks on Razors and a Rally joined us after an hour on so and we had a blast.

Swell, flat water lagoons, surprisingly consistent, especially on Oregon side.

All in all a great "midweekend" Metaldog and Burntviper and the honeymoon suiteness

Thanks for the shout out Airon. Put that survival pack together at the tutelage of another kiter after a scare this spring. Compact swim fins, flares, PLB, cell phone and marine whistle lol. Sounds dorky but truth is it is such a peace of mind when in the mighty Columbia or coast solo and it is so light I forget its there. Except in the back of my mind.

is PLB a personal locator beacon?

Good idea, I think I'll put one of those together.

Bummed I didn't get on the river today, but between all the mtn biking and kiting, my legs are toast.

Yes Shiver. PLB from REI. Small, light, waterproof and does not need line of sight.

Worst kept secret ever.

I have my thoughts about winds today, but I think I'll keep them secret also.

Must be coastal....the Gorge looks mellow today. Tomorrow is looking better. Great end of October so hope she pumps a few more days this month as "the best summer ever" continues.
