Filming people sitting at the Event Site and the Sandbar for 50 seconds is not exactly entertaining.

Got to do significantly better than that if you want to better some of the sick footage I have seen done with GoPro. People sitting on their asses on the lawn at the event site just about put me to sleep...

Ha ha. Well Said. You have posted once on this forum and you aren't just pimping your camera? Weird that you mentioned what it was filmed on anyway if you just ran across the video... Just fess up and be like, "Yo I am hawking my stuff and here is a video that I made to try and show what it can do." Will be better received.

On top of that there was a choppiness to the video that made it hard to watch.
It does have a built in LCD screen so the guy holding the camera hanging onto my kite can frame the picture correctly!

Now this is just an ad, maybe push it to the industry section? _________________ ...RRrrR.... .....RAAH!.... ... ... huh?....

Isn't REEL just a rebadged Cam One Infinity? I guess its nice to finally see someone in the USA importing these. Back when the Hero 2 was the latest this camera seemed like a decent alternative but it wasn't available in the US back then.
Looks like a nice competitor to the Hero 2 assuming they are using good compression techniques. Hardly a competitor to a Hero 3 black or Hero 3+
I learned after buying a Sony Action cam and a Contour HD that Gopro really know's what they are doing when it comes to professional quality sports cameras. Its the little details like smaller ISO steps for keeping timelapse smooth as light levels change, use of B frames for less artifacts and sharper optics that put Gopro ahead of the competition.
Stoked to see what the Hero 3+ really offers now that the lens is now EVEN sharper.
