Jim thanks for posting the awesome pictures. And thank for catching my kite when my center line was half hitched around my bar fully sheeted in after a darkslide kite loop attempt had gone horribly wrong.

Fun times, did a dw'er w/Stringing, Gman, bc8622--thanks guys. Awesome terrain, wind quality was 7m steady.

At the end of my Dw'er I found a dakine spreader bar. . .Pm me with the length and I'll try to get it back to you.

Thank you Wind Gods!

Great shots! What an October. Better than....August...I couldn't help but notice....John, let me get this straight....you had a center line hitched around your bar in sustained 40mph and your still alive? How were you able to control and land the kite? Do tell...

Luckily the wind had backed off. I assessed the situation and was ready to eject however the kite stayed pretty calm allowing me to body drag to shore where Jim could catch my kite. I think if I were facing the other way it would have been a different story and would have been pulled to the Washington side or got yarded trying to send the kite to the Oregon side.

Mostly luck had things going my way. I even had my board delivered to me as I untied my line. Thanks Hannah!
