I have a place in Lyle and need to get internet. Any suggestions on providers? Looks like Charter, Gorge.net and CenturyLink provide serve to the area. Which one is most reliable?

| we're in HR and use Centurylink. It's not the best... has connection issues and will sometimes stop working altogether. You'd think they could figure it out by now. How long has the internet been around now? |

| We use Gorge Net. They are cheap but we have to deal with streaming video buffering pretty frequently. |

We have gorge.net as well. Never had any connection issues.
Always on. They don't use wires, they install a dish that handles
all internet traffic wirelessly. |

I use Hood River Electric Coop's wireless. Super happy with them after over a decade of gouge net (one of their first customers). They are located throughout the valley but I don't know about Lyle though.

| I have Charter in HR. Not sure if you can get them in Lyle. Charter is the best choice. Pumping signals over thick copper will always be superior to EM over the air. |

I have decided to go with Charter but they couldn't for some reason find my house in Lyle. It's not like Lyle is big and I am right off the high way next to the Klickitat trail. What no GPS (Google maps?) and no cell phone to call me because you are lost. WTF? Now there next available install appointment isn't until the first week of October. #$%^!!!
