Mon Jul 29, 13 8:39 am Interesting kite scrubber |

I had to clean about 7 kites the other day so I was looking for a sponge, rag or scrubber of some sort. I could not find one any where. Damn CRS... Anyway, I tend to wash and re use my paint rollers. Usually good quality Purdy rollers. Happened to find a couple of thick nappy ones for rough surfaces sitting on the work bench. My son and I used them to scrub red dirt off of our kites and those roller covers were the best thing that I have ever used to clean and scrub a kite. Very wide, nice and soft, holds a lot of soapy water and will scrub well without damaging the fabric. They worked so great that we were blown away. Now the roller is the preferred tool of choice for that job. Wonder how they would work on my truck .... Shit, now I have to go wash the truck and find out.
Perhaps others have found this tiny secret nugget but I just thought that I would mention it. _________________ Ozone Reo's. C&k Beach Boy Service, Windsurfing Waikiki, Hawaiian Windriders, NSRN. |
