Just wanted to say I'm sorry for laying someones wetsuit in the sand yesterday.

I shouldn't have done that, just as someone shouldn't have laid their sopping wet wetsuit on my dry, bagged up kite.

It drenched my kite.

I found it like that as I was packing up my stuff to head home for some sleep before my graveyard shift.

I really didn't have time to lay my kite out at home, before trying to catch a nap and I had just discovered my bicep had ruptured while practicing my handwash backloops. (I dug my hand in too deep).

Still, no excuse for disrespecting others property, just because mine was. I do regret that. Someone called me "a dick", and I must agree my action was quite immature.

But folks, please ask the owner of the kite and bag, before you lay wet articles on them.

Just sayin'

Thanks,
David

Sorry to here about your bicep...surgery?

As for the wet kite, I personally would let it slide...the kites were designed to get wet and in these temps it will dry in no time.

Chill and have a beer and laugh it off.

Tru dat. Agreed.

Small head bicep tear. No pain, just ugly and it's the little one, so I still have 75% strength.

I think no surgery. I'll be seeing a specialist for a decision.

I'm heading out to SI, where its 15 g21. I'm going to see if I can retrain myself to only use my left. That should be interesting, going from feeling to sight for kite turning.

were doomed for turning into such pansies... Twisted Evil

I wouldnt put my own wet wetsuit on my kite..... as I value my kites performance and value more than the couple hundred dollar suit.
if some asshat I didnt know tossed pissed in suit on my kites .... well whatever would occur it wouldnt be an apology.

Probably would have tossed it off for sure, if the dog shit beach is all thats there, oh well.

And being called a dick for dealing with other peooples crap for them, well thats a hoot.

Too bad you didnt tear your bicep choking him out.. that would be a good story.

Out of curiosity, what type of backroll were you doing when you tore your bicep?

Follow this link to the Handwash Backloop:

I think I dug into the water too far (I had been practicing it for a few days before this happened).
