I live in Beaverton near Cornelius pass and baseline. It's about 1:45 from my house.

According to Google Maps it'll take about 1:37 to 1:44 from Hillsboro and you have 3 options, 1) I5, 2) Hwy 30, 3) Hwy 26 to Hwy 47. They are all about 5mins difference from one another.

I live in Canby and would be willing to carpool with most if we can make it happen. I am just stuck at work most of the next 7 days and then the doors are open again:-)

Wind was really light yesterday on oregon side at jones. We are talking like lulls of 6-7 and gusts to 15mph. So I pumped up my 17m blade fat lady and holy hell I had power! I could get up and ride! First time on the water fresh kite out of the bag. Very impressive with its power, speed and water relaunching. I was definitly happy.. .. talk about a ligh wind machine that is still fun to fly.

Only ones at jones. Couple people showed up briefly with 14m but left quickly. Yet with the fat lady I could ride and fly. Kinda stoked and made my day.
I might hit jones tonight possibly but will definitly be at jones on Friday.

Demos available. Blade, F-One, Xenon kiteboards

I showed up with my 14M in hand and did the drive of shame home, didn't even bother putting it up.

Regarding drive time from Hillboro, it takes me about 90mins to get from Intel to Jones if go down Cornelius to route 30.

A friend and I also work at Intel and occasionally drive out to Sauvies/Jones after work when I am not on call. We should start an Intel kiteboarding car pool!

Yeah that fat lady can sing sone high notes. Was pretty easy for my student to fly also minus a line tangle that ended his session. I flew her yesterday at kalama for about a hour. She jumps and kite loops. My front mobe ended in a mess and had to self rescue but other than that good day.
