How many times do they get to appeal the same thing?
Also, didn't Derek Bell just move away to South Carolina? How does that work?

Usually they get about three chances to appeal and try and get the developer to take their money to a community that will embrace it.
It costs the nimbys a thousand or less and the developers much more......
Imagine how prosperous the state would be if we were not pushed and led by hypocrites.
Business... they suck .. we just need jobs... government jobs..

On the other hand if it wasn't for public hearings and appeals processes the Waterfront Park would be 65' high condos (and even more windsurfers would be using the Event Site).

The lame friends want settlement money?
Think of all the trees they've killed with all the legal paperwork they've been filing! Cable parks are going up everywhere! It's just a matter of time before one of them sees a cable park. Once they actually see one, I think they might just forget about the whole thing and start trying to stop the coal trains or fight big banks, or something other than crushing my hopes of having a cable park in Hood River to enjoy with a bunch of other kids! Cmon cable park!!!
