I used 2 cans of it on my 2012 9m Switchblade which has seen a lot of use. It made the kite a tiny bit more water repellent but the difference only seemed to last maybe 4-5 sessions before it seemed as though I had never applied anything to it.
I didn't apply the shampoo prior because I do not have a place to dry a kite inflated indoors so instead I cleaned the kite with rubbing alcohol prior to applying the refit stuff.
I've heard some have had good success but personally I didn't think it was worth it. _________________ www.youtube.com/c/christianjohnsons |

I use aerospace 303 protectant on my favorite 2005 kites.

I use it for the uv protectant (apply every 6 months) and my 2005 kites are still going strong.
Most guys upgrade their quiver every couple of years, so not really needed. But if you got kites no longer in production, and want to keep them going, I think it is worth it. |
