As an avid windsurfer... and kiter, I was a little offended by the term "pole dancer". I knew in my heart that it wasn't true.

Anyway, I was hanging out in my garage tonight, eating beef jerky and reading old windsurfing mags when I came across this photo from 2001. Shocked Very Happy

Pretty impressive you got $1,500. A friend of mine sold all his gear last summer for several hundred dollars. He had spent thousands back in the day.

Photo is of Tinho Dornelas, of Calema Windsurf Center down on Merrit Island, FL.

I used to compete at his MidWinters Regattas back in my racing/working days as a windsurfer.

Kip

There is a huge amount of untapped entertainment in that gear and an opportunity to clean some of it from your garage

Leave a piece of worthless gear outside with a "for sale $400" sign on it. Hide a security camera and watch the rats take the cheese. Repeat until all the gear you cant sell is gone. Then post on Youtube when you get a nice collection of visitors. I suspect you will find a target rich environment in Tacoma.

Classic! With the recent popularity of hip hoppy thrift shopping for grandpa style clothes and kneeboards, I predict a surge in new windsurfer--or at least neon posers.

Pole-dancer, tea-bagger, SUP-tard... What the hell difference does it make. It's all a good time, I promise.
