Hey All,
Just an update. I'm having the time of my life on this trip. While my fellow kiters got another 7" of fresh snow yesterday, I've been down here kiting with you. Yesterday I got to knock out Threemile Canyon and I've had several good session at HR.
I really want to kite the coast and am prepared to head out o dark thirty to get the driving done so I can kite. Although today looks like it was good, tomorrow does not look so good.
If you were me - Head to the coast or stick to the Gorge? I leave PDX back to Alaska Thursday evening. Want to kite as much as possible before I go!

There is my board! Threemile Swell was a fantastic intro to riding in 'em! |

Glad you are having a good time! We were at roosevelt yesterday. A whole bunch of folks from BC were there too. Had a great session. I cant speak for those places at the coast but I am sure someone could chime in for ya! Have a blast while you are here!

Yeah, Three Mile was great yesterday! Nice to meet you and see you enjoying those big rollers that came through. Here's a boring pic of me coming in for the day... nothing exciting kite-wise, but the hills made for some nice scenery!

I go Manzanita for almost 3 hours yesterday on my 9. It was the only sunny place on the coast most of the day. Forecast looks the same for today. Head out there and see what it has to offer. Mine was a great session.

Manzanita worked for me! Oregon Coast and Ocean riding off the list! Two sessions on the 10m. Should of gone 12m but wasn't sure if the winds were going to pickup more. What a great day and perfect call from you folks. Had a blast getting out past the waves. The 12m would of given me the extra ummmff to pull throught them. Once past though - yee haw!
Back to the Gorge today!
Thanks All
Dan

Deep east lip smackers on the Columbia to NW winds, sunny, Manzo back to back. I'd say that is rare unless your riding sw winds at the coast--your a wind genie.
Sum up your trip...what was your favorite?

Stoked the coast treated you well. Kick ass day at jones. A crowded 3 of us. 14-20 knots that built to 25 plus as the afternoon went on:-)!!
