I have a hardly used 12m Cabrinha Crossbow 2006 and a Slingshot 137 board. Any idea of how much they might be worth and where I should market a 12m (too big for the Gorge, yes?) I will eventually get around to taking it out of the bag for a photo.

Hey Bizzy,

I would recommend searching the classifieds here for similar offerings to get a reference. iKite classifieds also has a large volume of used stuff. You can also talk to some shops that consign and see what they recommend.

Good luck. Very Happy

I had that kite and board at one point a few years ago. I used the 12m all the time in the Gorge. A 12m was my 2nd most used kite. It was my go to after work kite.

If you have the 2-1 bar in decent shape and if the kite is in good shape, still crispy, I would try to sell it at one of the Windance/CGKA swap meets for $200 to $275.
If the fabric has become super soft and no more crispness, probably around $175-$250. Less if there is repairs/excessive use...

That kite is a great beginner kite and great for snowkiting. But the drawback is the Bar pressure. It was brutal. I would try to sell it to snowkiters/coasties/Sauvie islanders and beginners looking for a good deal.

The board, it's a good beginner board as well, probably make them a package for $300-$350 or the board alone for $100-$150. Depending of how much it has been chewed up by rocks.

Or if you don't want to deal with selling it, just drop it off at 2nd Winds or Windance in their consignment section. I sold my 2006 16m and 12m through them to some guy on the east coast. Worth a shot if you price it to move.

Hope that helps.
