Does anyone know if Rio Vista/ The Delta cranks up in early May/Late April?
I'm driving 5-12 hour days home from southern Mexico and I need a kite session or two to break this up.
Nothing like a few hours in a waist harness to re-adjust the lower back. Smile

... and if the delta isn't cranking there is a significant probability the coast is. CA spring has wind on the coast all the time.

The Bay Area's been getting decent spring winds for the past month, with two big high pressure systems having come through to warm the valleys and fire the gaps. I've only had time to get out twice (at 3rd) but on a 9m and 7m. I think Sherman had some good sessions as well as the highs dissipated, and BAK posters have talked about sessions at OB, Dillon, etc. I'd say it's worth the detour if you have the time. The folks on bayareakiteboarding.com will keep you updated in near-real-time if you ask.
