Looking good at Rooster and Stevenson.

Hopefully the wind will last as the air warms up this afternoon.

..

Rooster is already kicking off with white horses!!

I'm taking a trip this afternoon, was there yesterday for some 6m solid 25 knots, then onto the 8m for more poke.

Might see some folk there?

Regards,

Borg.

..

Perfect 8m winds, sunshine and seen some seals for the second time. I was out there from 2pm till around 4pm when I left the wind had died out to maybe 10/12m winds if you were lucky.

I counted 4 kites and 3 windsurfers.

Rooster is a great spot!!

Borg. Can we assume the wind gauge is broke. According to it today it never blew 8 m winds and from 2-4 it was about 4-10 knots. Not 12or 14 in my book. Stoked you got some but thinking the gauge is way off or I would say broke with today's readings ??

Yeah it's been off for a little while. You can look at the Stevenson sensor and add at least 5 knots typically though. At the very least if Stevenson is on, so is rooster.

Aye she was blowing alright, I'm new to the forcasting and sensors, I was just going from the web cam shot and the whitecaps, that prompted my move. Sounds like its goosed the sensor! It was a solid 25 - 28 knots I had a hand held wind reader which kept me right.

Captain America has been Hanfordized, by downstream spewage from Hanford and solor radiation.

I think he/it created the wind shaddow you were talking about.
