It's going to rain off and on all day but wind looks solid. Thoughts?

Southerly Game Plan:

1. Get out there and stash your down wind vehicle, preferably while it's pouring.
2. The second it stars letting up, start rigging!
3. Do battle
4. Chong tough while you share tales of glory!

Alternate Southerly Game Plan:

1. Stash down wind vehicle while it's dry and windy....high five because your about to have a killer session.
2. As you start rigging, it's starts pouring and blowing 40.
3. Launch your kite which is coated with 25 lbs of sand
4. Chong tough and share tales of glory!

I'll likely be out there (seaside area) in the early afternoon tomorrow, should be nice and dangerous. PM me if anyone wants to get a downwinder together or something.

BONUS: The Northern strip is so close to Washington the authorities will return the bag you lost in a gust to you if you write your name on it.

Tried kiting north end of Seaside around noon. Figured I would play around in the kiddie pool. Wind as 0 to 30 in five minute increments from the southeast. Gave up, it was impossible for me.

Too much east in the wind. If you go, I'd hit the ponds. Wouldn't recommend tomorrow though, it will be nuking!

Instead of the ponds, can you go across the bridge and kite out of Fort Columbia State park? Looks to be on the water but, from the web site, I don't see any notes about beach access or water activities.

I remember Jack Brown surfing the Cove forever. There was one time when we asked him if there were sharks out there and he replied, "Yes, but they don't care about you".

We felt better.
