| Hey All.... I will be heading from Portland to La Ventana around October 10th. Just thought I would throw it out there in case anyone was traveling around the same time. I am crossing at San Diego. |

| I'm thinking of flying into La Paz in mid-December from Guatemala City to kite and then catching a ride north for Christmas. Do you know if there are many folks coming and going north? or could I catch public transport? Never been to Baja Cal so I'm curious to know how it works. |

You'd love La Ventana. I believe there is a local guy who provides transportation to and from La Paz. Contact Baja Joe's in La Ventana. I think they'll know.
As far as ride sharing you may want to head over to iKitesurf forums or iWindsurf forums. There seems to always be posts of people looking or providing transportation.
I doubt you'll find anyone traveling North at that time of year since that is the best time to be in La Ventana.

| I believe playa central offers a shuttle to and from for super cheap. no real reason for a car there. Just link up so someone can take you up to the upper launch site so you can have a fun daily downwinder. |

There is a site called: ventana.view@gmail.com, that is priceless for news, rides etc. A canadian lady operates it, give it a try.
