Really fun... having to jump off a moving boat to start seems "interesting". Where were they connected to the boat? Couldn't tell... |

Thats a awesome trimaran! Its center hull is on a foil. Look how fast it can go with very little wind.
I want one!
looks like they are wakeboarding off a halyard from the top of the mast. _________________ Cleverly disguised as an adult...

Not to be an ass, but thats about the laimest thing I have ever seen! Being a long time wakeboarder, what the heck are you going to do without a monster wake? .....unless they are going to sail by a slider park! |

What your're not going to do is spend $80 on gas for an afternoon of wakeboarding! Riding behind that tri is a total novelty, but its pretty cool that they are able to sail that fast in light wind (so its flat enough to wakeboard behind) |

If you tied the tow line to the top of the mast, I'd think you could get some pretty good 'pop'! |

I love how the title of that is "Trimaran Kitesurfing." Uhm...I don't see a kite anywhere. And then there's what I like to call the "WTF-factor." I guess if you can afford a multimillion dollar, high performance trimaran you can afford to hire a chopper pilot to film you and your buddies "kitesurfing" behind it, and then hire a couple of chase boats to pick you up out of the water just in case you eat shit cutting back and forth. Wouldnt want the crew on the trimaran to have to "tack a bitch" to come pick your ass up. That's what I want to see; the crew trying to grab one of those guys out of the water under full sail
Nonetheless good find! _________________ Order your copy of Present Tense today at http://cineaptic.bigcartel.com/product/present-tense-dvd |

ditto what Nate said... also as long as you got a helicopter hanging out, why not tie a line onto that guy and go for a ride. |

Redbull did that with KiteCinema a while back... If you haven't seen it, it's nothing special, but whatever;
http://www.kitecinema.com/movies.html (scroll over 8 "pages" to the right - it's called "Redbull Heli-Wakeboarding")
Sorry for not getting a direct link, but it's all embedded into Flash, so it'd take forever to find in the code. |

Thought the shots of the boat were more interesting than the wakeboarders... its a novelty, but the coolest thing ever were those two brothers, where the one kiting pulled the other out into the surf. They were amazing. |
