Anyone know if the seven stream trail is open again in Post Canyon after the logging? |

7 Streams is 20 feet deep in downed trees. It will be next Spring before it MIGHT be rideable. According to the accounts of those who have snuck in, it looks like a war zone and it will break your heart to see what is left.
Park at Family Man - Lower 8 and Middle 8 track are open. As is "the Boot". But that is about it. We tried to climb Upper 8 Track last weekend and it was 50% hike-a-bike.
HRATS (me) is proposing a new trail in 7 Streams to be a one way down. We are advocating for keeping the existing trail a one way up (and hike/run) and cut a new trail that is a one way down. This will take a lot of money and a lot of volunteers. Please donate to HRATS (hrats.org) and/or show-up to our work parties.
The next event is Nov 3rd at the Pint Shack. We will have a short presentation on who we are, what we are trying to do and what we are looking to do next year. We will then show "Strength in Numbers".
The next work party is November 10th. we will likely be working an a Middle School revamp/reroute on that day. |

I just want to re-iterate Matt's message here. Get involved! The work parties are super fun, and there is a bit of therapy to be had moving dirt around. Post Canyon will be rebuilt, better than it ever was if we all work together!
