We took a trip to Orlando a little over a year ago, and I thought that Cocoa Beach was an amazing kite spot. Warm shallow water in the rivers on the land side, and nice ocean kiting a half mile away on the Alantic side. It didn't matter which way the wind was blowing - you could kite. It is less than an hour drive from Orlando. I don't know specifically about the schools over there - but the guys at 321 Kiteboarding in Cocoa beach were all very helpful. |
