I left 2 kites at the Event Site on Saturday. Yes, I am a complete idiot! Big, huge oops moment when I discovered it yesterday. After stressing over it all night, I was thrilled to find them both safe and sound in the Port office. So, a big, huge THANK YOU to whoever picked up our kites and took them to the Port. I love this small town and this kiteboarding community. I doubt that would have happened in a lot of places.

Was most likely Jon and Sharon Chow, the Event Site Hosts that clean up and close the Event Site every night.

They pick up any loose or left-behind gear, document it in their notebook, tag it with the date, and then have it transported over to the Port office to be stored in the "Lost and Found" storage room.

These people pick up a load of stuff every night, so everyone, please remember to pack up your gear and double check your rig before you take off.
Lastly, please also put your name and number on your gear. One night, Pepi helped them clean up and had to call 5 different people who left a total of 9 kites, 5 harnesses, 5 boards, and other bags, pumps, bars..etc...... .

Next time you see Sharon or Jon at the Event Site cleaning up in the evening give them a hand, or just a gracious "Thank you" for their help would suffice.
