Monday night the wind machine stalled...... lots of kiters floating in the river...... couple of us managed to limp in to the WS sandbar. After folding up our kites and walking up the path to the road (staying off the tracks!).... figured we'd have to hitchhike back to the Event Site dripping wet... Pete Dey offered us a ride right to our cars. He lives in WA so it was definitely not on his way home. Great guy, great kiter, nice truck!
