I don't see directions to the spot anywhere in the first post. I have driven by there on my way to Jones a couple times and seen the wind. Would be a good place to stop if it's already windy there.
I don't know the area but aren't there a couple Kalama exists? Which one do you take and how do you get to the kite launch from there?

The red path is how you get to the park from Exit 30 (main Kalama town exit). You can use the Todd Road exit but you might have to wait for trains to pass depending on the time of day.
I usually park just South of the tennis courts.
