I am wondering if Rooster has potential for the easterlies being forecast for tomorrow?

I have kited in the gorge last four summers but always at sand bar, Stevenson or other spots to the east and never on easterlies so also would appreciate any spot advice for Rooster. Only on a four day surprise father's day trip and Wednesday is my last so looking to salvage last day. If not I will be the guy on a rented SUP all day tomorrow happily thinking over last three days of wind

I have a 15m, 12m and 8m with me and a 137 twin tip and I am 220 pounds

Any suggestions/knowledge really appreciated

Easterlies yes,,,, but only 10 mph.
Also huge current and high water.
Never know, you may get lucky.... take all your gear.

The problem with Rooster right now is that there isn't a beach yet to launch from unless you have a boat to get you out to that sand island. You could launch from Dalton point and do a downwinder to Rooster. Once you get to Rooster - you can land your kite in the water and do a self rescue - or keep your kite flying and walk it up the stairs to the grass. This looks very sketchy to me - but I have seen people do it.

If the East winds are good tomorrow - I would just go to Stevenson since you are familiar with it. Or if the East winds are really good, and you want something different - head out to The Ponds at Fort Stevens.

Thank you both. Good information. I will research the ponds or go back to Stevenson if the wind is up enough. Thank you for taking time to respond.
