Mon Jun 18, 12 1:31 pm Tragedy - anyone have a spare bar and lines? |

I kited out in hood river on friday, good times all around. But I learned a lesson.
When you're swimming out to the sand bar, clip in your bar and lines.
The river caught them and washed them away. I ended up kiting on an 11 meter with the bar from my 7 meter. It worked ok, but boy was the steering slow.
Does anyone have a spare bar and lines in the 55cm or so length? (the kite is an 11m Slingshot T3 from 2008. 4 line.) Bonus points if it's a slingshot - I'd love not to have to remember a second safety system.
Feel free to reply to this post or PM me.
Thanks a bunch! |

I still have the bar and line set that came with my '08 slingshot REV. Hasn't been used in a couple years. Still in good shape.
Yours for $50. PM if interested. |

That's a four line bar but it can be rigged 2:1 or 1:1. You'll need a pulley bar if you were using it 2:1 (most likely). I have a pulley bar/lines from a t3 11m....used but serviceable....I'll pull it out and give it a safety check.....have not used it for some time....pm for more info. |
