Super OMFG thanks to Luke from Kite the Gorge for manning up today and selflessly retrieving my kite that I had to ditch after botching a self rescue from within the black hole. Not only that, he towed me back to the sand bar before he darted down river to get my kite back.
I'm so unbelievably appreciative and grateful. He just came out of the blue to help out. The support network amongst kiters is tremendous, especially after experiencing it first hand. |

Hey, shout out to Mark too... he's always got a smile for ya as he's teaching at the end of the sandbar, and has helped me out a couple of times... there's definitely some good crew out there! |
