This is a friendly reminder that it is no longer allowed to launch or land at the Event Site.
We realize that there is a very small sandbar and a few people ignoring the standard rules that we have agreed with the Port of Hood River.

This is nothing new, so don't be a KOOK.
Let' s get it together and start following the agreed upon rules for allowing us the Pump and Dry access at the Event Site.
Please do your best to set a good example for kiteboarding in Hood River. Poaching and breaking the rules just because you think you deserve it, or you are not from Hood River does nothing but negative PR for kiteboarding.
Thank you very much to those of you who have been abiding by the rules and either walking out to what there is of a sandbar, or just simply kiting from the Sandspit and Marina launches.

Ruben understood, but Sunday the kooky guy on the slingshot kite and the hoodie-drysuit was doing a good job of causing some grumbling on the beach with his launching and landing via the beach and jumping in front of everyone.
Anyone know who he is, or if we need to speak to him directly?
