I need a cheap place to live with a bed, internet, and thats about it. Let me know what accomodations ANYONE can make. Im a 19 year old kiteboarder who wants to be out there for Rosham Throwdown. Id like to stay from Saturday the 14th of July to Saturday the 21st of July. thats a week. ill probably drive! Let me know what ANYONE can do.
Im 19, dont smoke, dont drink..(in the house...I wont come back drunk. Thats bad), I can clean up after myself..I just need a cheap room for a week with a nice person who has an extra bed! Thanks, and if anyone has anything, please message me back, text me, and then call me at 651 274 5494. I am a Minnesotan by the way.

Thanks!! Graham

There is a windsurfing/kitesurfing hostel in Bingen WA. Which is right across the river from Hood River town.

See Link: http://www.bingenschool.com/

Its about $20 bucks a night. For seven days it is only $100! There are some extra fees for taxes.. The place is huge and used to be a popular spot back in the glory days of pole boarding. Now its a forgotten little gem.

Why am i the only one staying here every weekend? Are you guys still driving back to to Portland at $60 a tank?

Plentiful hot water in the showers, full kitchen, TV lounge/cable, racks to hang you wet gear....

It an old elementary school so its huge - gymnasium basket ball court etc....

My personal suggestions being a regular here:
- go for the common bunk rooms vs the private rooms. The private rooms are stuffy .

- Though linens/towel/pillow are provided. You will probably be coming in too late for check in - after a night of partying in Hood River town - so bring your sleeping bag and pillow.

A.K.

You might want to consider staying for the Bridge of the Gods and the Blowout event if you do freestyle. Should be a fun few weeks.
