Isabela beach, puerto Rico. A great spot for those who live on the east coast.
Direct flight into aguidilla (bqn) via jet blue. No charge for my Burton snowboard bag holding my surf board and a twin tip board. $40 for my duffle holding four kites plus all other gear.
Beach is ten minutes from the airport. Car rental via Charlies.
Warm water, steady side on shore trade wind supplemented by afternoon thermals. Waist to head high waves.
Good food. Highly recommend one ten thai. Best noodles ever. |

| I second all of that. One ten Thai is bomb, and so is the surfing and kiting. Had bigger swell than that when I was there though! |

June is definitely the windiest part of the season there.
Although Wave season is really Dec Jan.
Watch out for the sea urchins and reefs.
Check out Ocean Park and Isla Verde as well, way on the outside
by Caballos I have seen 40 footers during some big storms  |
