I think you may have already answered your question with the above comments.
You are pretty accurate about what the isups are meant for, convenience, storage and transportation. Someone mentioned that they are built well for whitewater, which is true as well.
The technology that the isups are utilizing (at least the proper high-end ones at over $900. Anything less is actually a rubber raft) is pretty impressive .
We don't sell the C4, but we have been doing the Boardworks SHUBU (Show Up an Blow Up , but they are not quite as fancy as the C4 one you are looking at.
We have the 10' and 10'7' Shubu models coming in at around $1015 to 1075.
They are by no means fast paddlers, but they are great funboards that are more durable than standard SUPS and are pretty damn hard to get hurt with. _________________ Pure Stoke Sports
